Recycled plastic lumber
In addition to our line of recycled plastic outdoor furniture, Kane International carries a full line of recycled plastic lumber on a special-order basis. This lumber can be used just like wood and is ideal for Hawaii’s marine environment. It will not rot or splinter and is resistant to marine borers and termites. This product can be used for decking, docks, outdoor furniture, parking curbs, planter boxes all the way up to major ship pier projects. It comes in three grades and a variety of colors to fit your project needs. These products are manufactured by Bedford Technology, one of the industry leaders in recycled plastic products.
Grades of plastic lumber
SelectForce is Bedford’s line of standard recycled plastic lumber. This product can be used for basic projects and is non-reinforced.
FiberForce is Bedford’s mid-grade line of reinforced plastic lumber. Fiberglass flakes are mixed in with the plastic during manufacturing to provide extra strength to the boards. When you need a sturdier board for your application, FiberForce will get the job done!
BarForce is Bedford’s strongest grade of recycled plastic lumber by taking the FiberForce product one step further. It starts out with the materials used to make FiberForce while adding fiberglass rebar to the board for the ultimate in strength and durability. These boards even have the ability to be utilized for some structural applications!
